Yorkshire Horse Transport?

Anyone reccomend a horse transporter, preferably round my area (or south of Sheffield)?

Dont reccomend Dan Hudson, he's very good but unavailable, so I need someone else .

hmmmm Im a bit of a way from you (north yorkshire) but Carl Brown is good (http://www.equinetransport.co.uk/) ive used him before and James Joy comes highly reccomended on my yard (07764461997).

Although not really in your area (she is based in Shropshire but travels all over) i use Happy Horse transport lady called Claire she is great with the horses and i have found her cheaper than most shes fully licensed etc if you want her number pM

I found a webpage of licensed horse transporters and there is one who is based where Im wanting to travel to that I could use (I have to pay a round trip anyway so it doesnt matter if they have the horse with them on the way there or the way back. But I need to get a quote from her and she needs to double check she is free...

Id prefer south of sheffield because I dont want to have to pay the extra milage for them to come down to us then carry on south...

Jo - Dan has a website link (can't remember it now) where you put in your journey and date and they contact you with quotes. I'm sure that he'd be happy to give you the link

Greg Roberts is very good. He is used alot at our yard. He's very patient with reluctant loaders.

If Bales are still around then they are good. Fixed me up in my hour of need and even when they didn't have any available transport, they got a mate in to do it (not dodgey either!). We tried ringing them to transport Tobs but it was unavailble so not sure if they are around anymore though.
