I am slightly cross posting with Sarah's thread about boots but was wondering if anyone had knowledge exeprience on Olang Snow boots???

I'm wanting a pair of boots to wear around the yard - not necessarily to ride in just to keep feet warm and dry so my jodphur boots and chaps don't get as caked in mud when trekking to and from the field!!!:p

The Olang boots look perfect really and as I have size 4's I can get in Kids sizes and pay no VAT - :D

Can anyone reccomend a good boot relatively cheap not more than £50.00 or should I just get myself a pair of good thick socks and wellies???

Olang - £34.50 each
Wellies - £19.50 each

wow, crazy looking boots! Never heard of them before. Have you tried a pair on Bertie? What do they feel like? I used to live in my hunter wellies but now I love my Lakeland short boots. Really comfortable, waterproof and if I stick a pair of half chaps on I can ride in them too :)

katie - they look great where did you get them from? How much were they???

I haven't tried on either of the boots but have had hunter wellies in the past - the ones in the picture are Stylo wellies look the same just half the price!!!:p

I have mountain horse stable grooms short boots, they are around £50 but i am sure i only paid £31 for them so could do with a search and www.horserugs4u.com may have some on and they have a sale on them i think.
I have not found that they wear anymore than any other type of boot really. But you could also see the muck boot co. orginal boots they are suposed to be good yard boots.

The hunt for a yard bot continues!!! - After my thread on Friday and asking all your advice I went to Decathlon to see what they had in stock.

I found Aigle granit boots - the appeared to be really toasty warm on your fet with fleece lining inside, water proof but only a short boots or hunter wellies I be grudge paying £40.00 for a pait of wellies!!:p

I tried these Aigle boots on and this is my questions anyone else have these boots and tried them on as I'm a size 4 - 5 but probably nearer a 5 than 4 and the size that fitted mne with 2 pairs of socks on was a 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 is this right witrh these boots are the sizes normally this big???

I think a trip to robisons is definately in order as this weekend on the yard my toes no longer exsisted and were replaced by blocks of ice on the endof my feet!!!
