Wood Pellets - Do you wet them when you put a new bag in?

Just a bit confused on this one.
Have just got a delivery from Corley Biowood and put my first bed down. So far I am really liking it
But how do you add in new pellets. Do you just tip a new bag in or should you wet it a bit first so that the pellets are activated?

Any suggestions appreciated.

I make mine up in the wheelbarrow, just put the pellets in, add a bucket of water and leave for about 20 mins

i add 1 litre of water per bag & keep mixing til its all gone , then leave for 10 mins , mix again then mix in into the existing bad
