Will a breastplate stop lateral saddle slipping?

Further to my query about anti-slip saddle pads, I was wondering if a breastplate/girth can stop/help with sideways saddle slippage?

i use breastplates to help with slipping when i mount. it has to be a huntign type tho, otherwise it doesnt work

No harm in trying one! depends on the build of your horse.

A hunting breastplate of a V-breastplate may help, not sure whether i breastgirth would tho.
