Who has brought horses from John Whinnet?

Have just been looking at his website as his yard is quite close to me and quite often see his horses out in the fields. I have only ever heard good things about him and im sure i remember some people saying they had brought or tried horses from him in the past.

Was just wandering what you thought of him and if you still have the horse you bought from him and what they are like etc.

I have never brought from him but several friends have and have been pleased with what they got.
My friend has just got a very expensive one from him.

The only negative ive heard was one about him not liking a horse failing vetting (pm for details!!) and just bear in mind he does get in a lot of part exs.

I've heard a lot of good things about John Whinnet as well, and virtually no bad. He doesn't do "cheapy" horses but they do seem to be good sorts.

Only ever heard good things, I friend of mine used to work with him and she has the highest respect for him. He doesn't do 'cheap' horses as Gruntfuttock said more competition horses etc. I have a friend who bought her first horse from him and he's exactly what was on the tin
