Zak is wise, kind, not very fast and rather odd looking. Clearly a boxer.

Cally is beautiful, quite hairy, very affectionate and solidly built. Flat coat retriever.

Well I have no dogs and don't have much experience with them, but at a guess maybe Chloe a lab and Storm perhaps a small poodle Not sure tbh!

Hmm. Ziggy is strong, not hairy, always on the lookout and fast, but he's not a whippet. A smallish lurcher?

A dog implies happy to see you, comes to call and faithful. She is happy to see me if she is, but if she isn't she isn't.
And yes you know the difference as you if you can't feel it you can see it.

Mine would be fat afghan hound, niceish to look at and plenty of hair but very limited in the brain power

Ben would be the type of dog who is always lying down having a sleep. He would like to lie infront of the fire and curl up with his owner.
