No more tutus borrowed from Buddy, a no fill rug with neck, and waiting for a Big Horse fly rug. These are the only rugs that fit the giraffe.

Dragged out all the fly rugs and did a try on to see what fitted who. Sapphire can just about fit into some of Buddy's he is 6'6 and she is 7ft. She now has this one which is for her, her no fill Big Horse, and waiting for a waterproof fly rug, cheapo from Gallop as she came with some of their turnout rugs so they fit.

@diplomaticandtactful Horseware do, and with a few adjustments I can just about squish him in those, though not the cheaper Amigos. No point me buying fixed necks, even in the Big Horse Sop sizes I have to go up a neck size!

yes i get the biggest neck size. Buddy can wear the Horseware XL Bug Rug but had to pay to have leg straps put on as the pathetic tail band is useless in the wind and blew up over his neck

And that's why I wish they did detachable necks, so I could get a 6'6" broad fit rug and a bigger size broad fit neck because what the recommend for his rug size is too small and that being the case I don't think the neck on the combo fly rugs would work. Plus I don't always want a neck on!

We are getting there but been to this stage before and it all broken down again. Vet suggests wait another two weeks and continue using equaide every second day and then cleaning off every 4th day and see how we go.
