If you are wearing a waistcoat instead of a jacket because it is warm, should it be tweed or coloured.

Also, would it therefore be correct to wear short sleeves or long or not matter?

the waistcoat can be either, but usually a plain coloured one although i have seen checked ones.

sleeves, i dont think it matters, personal preferance. i show without a waistcoat if it is hot and just a short sleeved shirt.

for in-hand i always wear a tweed waistcoat,
Im colour co-ordinated from top to bottom,
i used to wear a short sleeved shirt and it was frowned upon,
i now wear a very smart long seeved show shirt and it always gets complimented.;)

ps,if you look back over some of my show results threads you can have a look at what i wear .;)

Thanks, probably should say, its M&M and its a BIG show (never let it be said we do things by half, but its too close to miss) and I want to at least LOOK the part.

I don't think I ever mentioned a gold one, is that what I should have or have i missed something or do I need to put the wine glass down again.
