Vintage Stuff-who loves it

Now without giving my age away, I like from the 50's. I do like the 1920's flapper dress if I am honest.

The funny thing is, I am now wanting to buy the clothes my parents tried to get me to wear as a kid! They were in them days classed as old fashioned. It wasn't the done thing to be seen in Oxfam. I have say our Oxfam is very up to speed and has a vintage rail!


So what about you lot.

I wish I had kept more of my 80's stuff! Some of it could be worn today - mind you, I doubt if I could get into most of it.... lol

You've reminded me - my nan used to have some gorgeous dresses she'd kept that had belonged to her niece - they were lovely and we used to be allowed to play dress up in them. I am guessing they would have been 50's style - I remember one had a full circle skirt with a lot of netting underneath.

I am not a big fan of the 80s apart from those jelly bags and pixie boots.

Yes I loves those netted skirts from the 50's, I don't think that dates, though the originals itch. :giggle:
