theres no real dress code, some places will let you in the ring wearing jeans and a coat (i've done this before after unexpextedly having to take YO's sons pony in as it threw him off ) and others will want smarter dress. In an ideal world, you'd go for long boots or short boots and leather gaiters, light coloured jods, think its meant to be white but beige would be ok, a shirt, a tie or stock (or collar meaning you can cheat!) and a jacket, but tbh i think you could get away with any sort of boots provided they're proper riding boots, light jods and a shirt (it has to have sleeves for health and safety at most places) and poss. a jacket if you've got one.
Have fun and enjoy it, and feel free to PM me with any more problems!!
