I love to look at everyones horsey pics,in lot's of them I have seen horses turned out in various kinds of boots.Please could anyone tell me why they do this , just curious

There could be lots of reasons- to stop them injuring themselves, to support an injury etc, my horse is turned out with rear boots to protect her legs from mud fever. you can buy special turnout boots, hope that helps!
Some horses are just extremely accident-prone, and are turned out with leg protection so they don't come in every day covered in cuts! There are also special tight-fitting leg protectors to prevent mud fever.
