I had a fantastic day judging at the trec champs today :) My first time ever judging. I got the Ridden S-bend and it turned out to be a great obstacle to judge. Its one of my fav's to ride, but was good to judge as was really interesting seeing how everyone tackled it.

It was also great to see such a variety of horses and ponies from little icelandics and native breeds to chunky cobs and draught types. Also lots of different temperaments, some really pingy types and some more chilled and laid back. And you couldn't tell from watching them approach who'd do well and score full marks and who'd knock poles.

Its really spurred me on to try and get out to some comps next season :)

Its one of my least favourites.
But you are right you don't know who will do what.
Its anyone's ride.

Jess's breeder was meant to be there , I should message her to see how she did.
Helping at events (what ever the discipline) is a great way to learn more about it, esp at that level, glad you enjoyed it :D

What's Jess's breeders name? I might remember it as I was ticking everyone off my main list as they came through my obsticle and looking at their name and the name of their horse/pony! Lol!
