I was wondering if you could tell me how to get my young horse to canter, he is rising 4 and is friesian, so has a wonderful high stepping trot, we do lots of walk, trot & halt transitions and have started trotting poles.
But he just wont canter whilst ridden and has a bit of a hissy fit if he gets stuff wrong. Any tips?

The title page says BHSAI so, yes, qualified to teach.
