TOTALLY Freaked OUT !!

I apologise cos this is LONG........ Today I went with No.1 Sons G/Friend to
pick up my Grandaughter. On the way back we decided to call into the
Garden Centre for lunch. Whilst sat there I noticed this older Lady with another Woman (her Daughter) and had an OMG moment when I realised who
they were and the fact that I had not seen them since I was about 13 when
they moved, however, I would have recognised them ANYWHERE, even though Older Lady is now 92, and AMAZING, she really hadn't changed that much, well she couldn't have cos I recognised her and I am now 54 !!:smile:

Went over for a chat, caught up a bit said how lovely it had been to see them
and went back to Grandaughter and Alice, Son's G.Friend.

As I stood up to leave, the Daughter 'E' beckoned me over and said 'Kay, I
wouldn't usually say this, and certainly not somewhere like here BUT, I have
your Dad with me (he died 3 years ago !!) he wants you to know he loves
you very much but its important to speak to you because he is 'stressing' about a Wedding Ring, a plain gold band'.....do you know what he means ?

TBH I was shell shocked, really taken back and a little 'upset' and said 'No, but I will think about it, thankyou' and LEFT..........absolutely BIZARRE

Talking to Alice, who was also a bit concerned as I was upset, I said there
was TWO Wedding Rings, thats the only Gold Rings I could think it related to,
Mums 'old one' that I have and the newish one
Dad bought for her as the old one was soooo thin. Anne, my Sister has
the newish one and I have the old one........its in my Jewellery Box next to
the Wedding Ring from my first marriage...........

Anyway we come home and Alice says 'go find the Ring'...........

I go upstairs 110% safe in the knowledge the Ring is in the jewellery Box...
open it up and ITS NOT THERE !!!!!!!!!! I have no ideal where it is.......

I AM STRESSING...........how BIZARRE IS THIS......I SEE SOMEONE I haven't
seen since the year dot and she tells me my Dad is there and about this
Ring..........................WHERE THE HELL IS THE RING !!!!!!!!!!

Not surprised you're a bit freaked out! I don't suppose you have the contact details for the daughter - possibly she could point you in the right direction? Good luck looking for the ring.
 
im sorry i dont know what to say, may your sister have the one you thought you had? is it in another jewlery box

No this ring was definately with me. I couldn't wear it as I was scared it
would snap. TBH I last saw it a few months ago, sat next to my old
Wedding Ring............I haven't moved it.

The only thing I can think is that my Grandaughter sometimes plays with
the jewellery box on a morning when she wakes and just maybe she took it
out, can't think for one moment she would have taken the ring out of the
Bedroom but now have to have a good look, sort out and find it.........!!
Leilani is allowed to play with my jewellery, well she looks at it more than plays,
but I have asked her if she can remember playing with or seeing the ring and she said
'Nanny Daisy's Ring is in the Jewellery Box' ??????????

Bit freaky to say the least. I would have bet a million pounds tbh it was
THERE in the Box..........I just stood there staring when I opened it absolutely
dumbfounded.........Perhaps Dad would like to come tell me WHERE it is !!!

This is NOT the first time I have had something happen like this, apparently so I have been told, I am very 'easy' to read, and I once
had a total stranger come up to me and tell me she 'had' to talk to me, that she knew things were not right............bizarre..........I even
once had a Woman tell me I was going to get a DIVORCE when I was still relatively HAPPILY married ...........

I work at a Catholic School, one of the teachers always prays to St Anthony if she can't find anything, she swears by him. (she probably doesn't swear being a catholic :smile:)

Hope you find the ring.
 
Well I have had a quick look tonight, in other jewellery boxes (not that I
have that many, but I have a few small boxes with earrings in etc., and thought well maybe I put it in there.....) and in the chest of drawers that the box usually stands on
...........NOTHING............I don't know what to think, its completely left me:eek: tbh.

I rang my Sister earlier to tell her the tale and she laughed and said 'what
a load of Old ...........' lol, but that was BEFORE I realised the Ring wasn't
there, I haven't dared ring to tell her the Ring is missing !!!

Now, I wish I had asked more..........tbh, it was all just so 'crazy/bizarre and totally unexpected' at the time I just wanted to get out of there
before I burst into tears and made a total idiot of myself because I could just feel myself welling up !

I DO actually have her contact details because during our intial chat
she was telling me that she was into 'alternative therapies' (didn't say
anything about being a flippin clairvoyant or Medium) and gave me her
card.

However, I honestly don't know how I feel about contacting her......
Haven't searched high and low as yet as Leilani was here and I didn't want
to make too big a deal of it all OR make her feel that I thought maybe SHE
had misplaced the Ring.

Will have a proper look throughout this week and let you all know if the
ring turns up x
 
I'm not sure what I believe about people with so called 'powers' but I do know that they should be a damm sight more responsible than to drop you one liners like that in a garden centre and then dissapear. My advice would be to get either your son or daughter in law to contact the woman and explain how this has made you feel - it's really disgraceful behaviour.

If you are 100% sure that the ring is missing and can't find it and have no other explanation, then perhaps the psychic can help you find it. If you don't find the ring you will spend ages wondering if this woman could have helped you find it, so you may as well get someone to contact her. Just do it with the support of your family and be on your guard. There are some very good con artists out there.
 
What an unusual story. Do hope the ring turns up! What a strange one. I would have felt very odd about the whole thing. Not sure how I'd have reacted - probably gone into headless chicken mode......lol.
Keep us posted if you get anymore signs or info!
 
Ohh I have gosebumps sitting here reading this. I really think things like this are fate. Call me strange but ive had a few experiances with mediums and they have all been spot on and true ! IOne which was a load of rubbish....

I would contact her if you cant find it in a few days.
 
TBH Mary Poppins I think she was more than willing to 'talk' it was ME, I
just wanted to get out, felt as though somebody had thrown a bucket
of cold water over me...........she did say she wouldn't usually do it, especially in the surroundings but felt she had little choice..........

It was just so.................CRAZY..............hadnt seen them in all those
years and she suddenly tells me my Dad is there !!

Haven't found the ring, haven't really had a good look as yet

Funny thing is this........ IF my Dad was there and passed this message, I
AM ANNOYED that he is 'stressing' about it, yes I sincerely hope I find the
Ring, obviously it has sentimental value, however I DON'T need a damn
RING to remember either of them by, I think of both him AND Mum everyday....

Typical of HIM to stress and ME to LOSE the damn thing:wink:
