Question in the title.

Went on my first hunt - love it! :D
Got filthy the second my cob (hire) put his hoof on grassand lauch into gallop.
Mad, fun, scary, thrilling and I will do it all again!!:D Worth it!!

Now back to the question -
I had washed the jods but it still have faint mud stains on it.
Hand wash the body protector but there still mud stains.
Help any tips welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Crikey you've so many threads on the same subject. One would do the job ;)

I dunno what kind of mud you have down in Kerry :D

Just brush the stuff off the chaps when they're dry (I wouldnt put them in a washing machine myself). Try vanish on your clothes... or treat them by hand with soap.

vanish is good stuff on jods as is those punch whitening sachets they sell in tesco (same make as the color catcher sheets). Some mud just wont come out im afraid I used to hunt on bog land in offaly and that stuff just does not come out!!

For the back protector I usually just scrub with hot water and a jay cloth, try vanish by hand it shouldnt do any harm

Readin the wash instructions I'm not meant to but I always put my jod's in the washing machine and ... wait for it .... dryer!!! Did it a few times before I realised I shouldn't and have never had a problem, maybe a wash in the machine may get them out, add a bit of vanish to for good measure, my mate always swore by a tiny bit of fairy liquid scrunched into a stain before popping stained item into washer
