What exactly were those classes ??? to be wearing the outfits?

The Woodstock fair here has a sidesaddle class where people wear
Victorian outfits.
That is the only class I know of with something similar.

Its Concours D'Elegance Showing can be ridden sidesaddle but these ladies ride astride. The Class is a ridden walk trot class... showing off suitability of the mount and outfits are judged too.

Its really lovely to watch the classes
