The joys of soaking hay!!!

Sox is currently being feed soaked hay. Which isn't a huge problem. However the problem I have is that I am working normally over Xmas and due to my work I can only get down once a day in the more and I work shifts and start pretty early!
We only have one bath to soak the nets in. And it takes a while to drain the water away! Can I soak his hay like 24 hours before. So having it soaked Friday evening for Saturday night? As it takes forever in the morning and I can't go to work smelling of wet hay!
 
Yes you can, though I wouldn't in warm weather. Just make sure you rinse it well when you take it out the soaking water.
 
Yes, I do sometimes and as long as you rinse it off decently I've not had any problems with it :)
