Text abbreviations - are you guilty of it? And just how many are out there?

Name your shortened words, I know a few, but know there are a lot more..

I'll start.

ROL - Rolls about laughing
LOL - Laugh out loud

I think lol is the only one I use. Having an iPhone with a qwerty keyboard I find it just as quick to fully type out words, plus with no character limit there's no reason to shorten.

Lol is one I use. Atm is another. I am not too bad, I can type pretty quickly on the iphone.

I don't use many, LOL & DIY are the only shortened words

but I do use MUE = a hug (ME around U)
and mwah = a kiss

LMAO = laughed my ass off
LMFAO = the above with a swear word haha
TBH = to be honest

and sometimes use 2 for to etc.

It drives some people mad but it saves time lol haha

I use abbreviations when texting my best friend - "u" "r" and "8" whenever there's an ate in a word.

Because we have been texting each other for a looooong time!
