Joy has been on a bit of a weightloss plan. She is absolutely spot on now but has some *cough cough* saggy skin that keeps getting pinched when i do her girth and she is obviously unhappy. She is fine after girthing up 3 holes on each side which I do in stages and I also now lift her legs forward to release that skin before tightening to full torsion.

I was thinking new girth but someone suggested getting a girth sleeve.

So whats the best material? Are they all one size? Anything else relevant you can think of to help my education along? :D

a cheap fleece girth cover works fine (I've seen them for about $10 or a bit less). I believe that they're generally a one size fits all kind of thing.

It works just as well as having a padded girth (and makes cleaning easier), only disadvantage I've found is that you have to keep it in position and make sure that it doesn't get wrinkles which can be annoying.

I personally prefer a fleece-lined girth, you can get them for about $30-$40
