I should have taken the piccies *after* I'd groomed!!
I got a couple of books sent over from Australia on knotting for horse(wo)men and my FIL found me a bit of old rope to practice on and this is my first halter!! The instructions were really easy and I even managed a Fiador (notoriously difficult knot) after a couple of attempts!!
The noseband isn't supposed to have a twist in it but other than that it turned out OK. Have bought some lovely soft white rope to make another one now.
