Storing a harness

I have to put OH Heavy Horse pairs driving harness away as since he bought it in march he has never used it and it is in bits and pieces all over the house with most of it on the bedroom floor its driving me mad.:stomp: Now I have finally had enough and I'm going to stick it in the attic. I have a large bag I can stick it in but does it need any special dressing before I put it away?:frown:

If it's working harness and not show patent and in need of boot polish for shows then I'd cover it in either Co-Cho-Line or Aussie leather dressing or Hoopers 1882, or Abbey 1982 (or whatever it's called these days.

Put it in hessian bags or pillow cases/old duvet covers, not plastic. or if you have any old travel trunks, they are the best.

Can you not find space fot it on racks on the wall of a garage or shed or similar, it would like that much better.
