Sore in front feet? odd? help...

Help, I am i new horse owner and i was just wondering about my 13 year old quater horse arab... He seems pretty sore in his two front feet( thats what i suspect...) any ways.. everytime i pick up his foot to hoof pick.. he stuggles to put it leg down??on both front feet??he doesn't like me picking htem up, but he is fine while riding? what could this be?please help....

Some horses can be sensetive about their feet.

Is he shod?

Is he happy for the farrier to trim or shoe him.

If he's sound don't worry too much.

My litttle horse is fine to have shoes on, but hates to have the hoof pick anywhere near his frog. He has ticklish feet.
