Songs to say goodbye? (Not OT)

Long story short, my loan horse is going back to his owners next saturday. I've loaned him for 1 year, 9 months now, and I've got a strong bond with him. But unfortunately, I've now started college and do not have the time for him. The owners also need to sell him on, but I can't afford to pay out £2500 and even if I did have the money, I'm hoping to go to Uni in a couple years, so I'd have to sell him on by then anyway.

Anyway, I want to make a little video thing (you know, those things on Windows Movie Maker?) but I'm having a hard time finding some songs to put on it...

I want a slowish one that has the message ..goodbye, I love you, we had fun, I'll miss you.. kinda thing. But I don't want it to sound like he's passed away.

Don't know if that has the "correct" message though.

I also want a more upbeat song that shows how much fun we've really had, but also has a good message behind it.

Any ideas?
