Well, OH had his first ride on the gingerbread man today. He has been here one week!! Lol time flies. Anyway, up until now he's just been taking him for walks in hand.
So, he was a good boy and I was proud of both, because that "first" ride in a new home is always a bit tense. (Well it is to us maybe not to more experienced riders on here).

Yes he has a lovely walk, hehehe when we tried him at his old home, he had a lovely trot too, those long legs cover ground much faster than the shorter connie ones

Thank you all for your nice comments. At the risk of sounding completely soppy, I just can't believe how well things are going and how happy we both are. It feels like it's all slotted into place, and of course for Mr T it feels so good to be back riding. We both feel soooo lucky right now. This is the happiest we've been in ten years

The move here is the best thing that has ever happened to us. It's coming up a year soon and I still pinch myself most days. I keep thinking I'll wake up lol
