Some jingles for Thursday pretty please

Tavia over-reached in the field about 6 weeks ago - small wound and loads of bruising so lameness was not really surprising. I had the vet out 3 weeks ago as she was still unlevel. She has been buted for 3 weeks on a low dose and has been sound on that when run up in hand.

Last dose Sunday night, she is unlevel again tonight so my vet is referring her for a full lameness work up.

I am taking Lindsey's pony down for his follow-up at the referral practice on Thursday and they have kindly agreed to fit Tavia in to save me another trip.

If the verdict is for a long spell out of work then she will be heading off to stud to spend her time off productively (no pun intended! )

No, if she is going to come right quickly then I won't send her. The plan is for 2010 when Peri retires to stud full-time so that I have 2 foalies together.

Best wishes Tavia from Paphos! Yes, I'm still here and the delay for the flight home grows every few hours. I may be at the saddle check in spirit only on friday. Its been a very long day and I can't see the end in sight yet!
