Hi, my horse occasionally as a bit of swelling around his fetlock joint in the mornings, always goes done after exercise and being turned out. It is a general puffiness around the area, doesnt look like windgall, Is it most likely to be linked to arthritis, he is not showing any obvious lameness. It is only on one hind leg. thanks

Lots of horses get filled legs/fetlocks after being in over night. If he isn't lame on it at all, I would think it is just because he can't move around as much as he would when he is out. Bit like us on aeroplanes - puffy ankles.

thanks for the quick replies, I have aquired a pair of bioflow boots for him so will give them a try to see if improves. hopefully nothing to worry about then, must tell him to lay down and put his feet up more when in stable:tongue:
