With Beth and Ollie. There first lesson together.
First we tidied Hippie Ollie up by pulling his mane, he's back looking like a show pony again.... Good job Beth knows how to pull as I haven't got a clue ....
Beth hacked him round to a friends where he was getting a lift to the venue. He loaded & travelled brilliant considering its been over a year since he went anywhere. They warmed up for a little while.
Then went in the arena I saw jumps about 80 cms with lots of fillers, scary fillers and thought to myself OMG..... hes only 13.2 hh & Ollie will be bound to tank in here like he does in the jump paddock at home.... They took it in turns jumping the instructor was great with lots of encouragement... Ollie was very spooky at first but by his 3rd or 4th go he's was handling it like a pro
he was easily clear the 70-80 cms course even jumped the very spooky pony hoof nibbling water tray lol.
All in all I was very pleased with them both. He's some pics of super smart Ollie.... and trying to upload a small video with them jumping but my phone is playing up so will add it later in the comments.
