Bjørn had left Frances with a lot of homework to do while he's in Nog Land. He has been making them both work on engaging the back end and lifting the forehand. Frances has remodeled her horse in a matter of a month or so. He's got more top line, lost his fat belly, gone down a girth size and grown about a hand at the front.

We had a little play in the school yesterday, we will soon have piaffe in the bag at this rate!

He has changed so much. The only trouble is, the only piaffe I have ever got out of him has been totally lateral!

I was going to remark on the pacey piaffe...whole new movement for the dressage world to copy!!

He is teetering on the verge of trot nowadays, he must be 17 now and has never trotted in his life. The work Bjørn has been making them do is making him stronger and stronger and I anticipate by the end of this year we will have him trotting.
