Last week was number 5, I rode the lovely Geoff again after not having a lesson for 6 weeks. He was awesome as usual! Unfortunately my point strap broke over a jump so thats why its not on in the video! I got my stirrup taken away this time so was jumping stirrupless! I actually found it easier to balance with no stirrup randomly! Here is a video from last week.

Then this week was number 6. I rode a lovely horse called Archie who is a better jumper to allow me to practice my position. Archie was a lot easier for me to sit to jumping as he has a much flatter jump so I didn't get thrown out the saddle so much. He does however enjoy his jumping a lot, so when I didn't keep him straight jumping over the diaganol he took a sharp left towards the next fence and I nearly came off! My safety stirrup worked as it came away as I hugged his neck! He was a gent and stopped when I was hanging round him! So that made me really sit up and ride my lines properly! Here is a video of me jumping a wee course with Archie, I can see what I'm doing wrong so onwards and upwards for next weeks lesson!

Glad your enjoying it, I had the one lesson and even back then on my own horse it wasn't cheap. Though to be fair instructor travelled a long way.
I would love to do it again especially on other horses.
 
Where are you based NF? I'm having lessons in Warickshire about an hour north of me. I pay £30 a lesson which I think is quite reasonable :)
