Shedding Teeth

Yeah I was wondering if the horses shed their very front teeth like they do the side ones. As you know my horse chipped off one of her front ones. Half of it is still there from the gum down. She is 2 1/2 years old so she hasn't even started getting her adult ones yet. I am calling the vet today but I would like to know if anyone knows which teeth they shed. Thanks for you help!

I'm pretty sure that they shed them all. I have quite a collection gathered over the years. Usually left in feed buckets!

She will start to loose her front teeth. They ususally do around the age of 2-3yrs. Mind you having said that Kito is three and he has not lost any ofhis yet.

The very front incisors are lost first at around 2 and a half.. all the front teeth are definately lost.. i actually don't know about the back teeth..?

My 2yr old (may foal) has just lost one of her fronts was wobbly for ages checked it yesterday and she'd lost it in the field!! the one underneath is about 1cm through.
