I spoke to the vet on Thursday and he said to take her off the bute, and has said if she's still sound on Monday I can put in the hoof putty and put her back with her pals.
So, she'll have her dressings off first thing in the morning, putty in then she can have a lovely bath and go out, and you know what? If she rolls and ends up filthy again I won't care, because a week ago Friday I didn't think she'd still be with us for much longer she was in so much pain.
