I've not ridden her for a couple of weeks as I've taken her back to basics because she's so green (as regular readers will know).
I've taught her how to go on the lunge, and she's made so much progress, and I had a Facebook message last night from one of the girls at the yard asking if she could lunge Sham today. She worked so well, I decided to get on board and see how she went.
My friend led me round the school so I could focus on improving her steering, and she was an absolute star. She's starting to work well off the leg going into the corners (she only knew about being steered with the reins), so I'm going to start her on some circles this week to prepare her for lateral work.
She's such a good girl my confidence is growing by the day. I've been persuaded to enter for an in hand showing class at a charity show at the end of June, but if we carry on like this she might even end up in the ridden class as well! :inlove:
