Does anyone know of any? Especially things you can do to help you see the stride on any sized horse? I get confused moving up/down several hands!!

Like Horsey1992devon said counting 3 strides out go 3.. 2.. 1... placing poles help, getting a good canter riding your corner correctly also sets you up on the right stride most of the time.. and if your canter is active enough then if you do miss and there is enough canter, your horse should be able to help you out!!

The best thing to do is the obvious - practice! The olny way you can see a stride without the aid of placing poles. Once you have riden a horse enough times seeing a sride will become second nature.

Your other option is also canter poles and familiarise yourself.

I use poles alot to help me. If u put two poles out with 3 stride distance and then just play. C if u can get four strides then c if u can do it in two. its a fun excercise.
