Seasons ....Cats

Just a quick question ...................... How often do cats come into season???

We have a 5month old kitten who had her first season in the middle of March but she has since come back into season again.

Vets wont dress her until she has finished her season, I know, but just wondered how often they came into season.

It's every 3 weeks, so you need to wait 10 days after she comes into season.

Cats can come into season on demand so to speak. As in, if they go outside they can mate whether or not they are 'in season'. So I would think its hard to tell. I forget the techinical term sorry!

I have her booked for her operation at the beginning of May so that should tie in with her seasons then
