Well, for the last several months I've been a confirmed 'lurker' on here. So I thought I'd pop in and give everyone an update.

My posts ablout my Quarter horse gelding having bitting problems (hard mouth), and needing jumping help were long ago, and most of those problems are resolved.

Over the past year we have been able to downgrade his bit to a copper eggbutt snaffle for flat work and a kimblewike for jumping.

His jumping is really coming along, he will quietly negotiate a 2' to 2'3" course and is getting all the lead changes. This past summer we placed 2nd out of 48 in the state show in hunter hack. Out goals for this year include being able to jump more difficult/techical courses (at the same height before raising them), improve his flat work and possibly enter into a one day event this year!
I hope keep everyone updated on his progress in training and shows this year....(crosses fingers). I'm On my way out to see him right now...
