Hi,

I currently have a wintec for my old boy, and the 'banana tree' suits his shape lovely :D

However, I don't have a lot of wither clearance - and so am thinking of getting the T4 high wither. However, other T-goods I have had have had quite a straight panel which is not so good for an oldie

Does anyone know how these saddle shapes compare to the wintec?

Thanksyou

Sorry if this is ignorant... but as long as the wither is cleared, and it fits well... it doesnt matter "how much" - I was always taught a min of four fingers... but thats not the case.

yeah thats what i thought too

but now as he had gotten older the clearance has reduced further, and when he turns tightly etc i believe the pommel may be touching.

I don't know if the wintec schooling pad might be an option, just to lift the whole thing up a cm or two

I have a TG cob gp in wide for my boy and it fits him well and i can adapt it to suit him ie gullet panels etc with it being 3d.
