I got a winter pair that are supposed to be the equivalent of some ones I've worn a lot over the summer and liked, wore them to ride for the first time today. It may be the last time lol. The fabric isn't as stretchy as the summer ones, and combined with the fleece they don't cling to me in the same way. What they do do is cling to the saddle very nicely, and as a result when trotting I could feel them slipping down a little bit with every rise . So if you need a giggle picture me on a rather hot to trot Luka with my tights sticking to the saddle more than me and whenever they got to a dangerously low level having to make a quick grab with one hand to pull them up, which meant one hand off the rein and an inevitable burst of speed 🤣🤣

They're now relegated to yard wear!

So - dignity out the window then.

Haha I can just picture it! I find they loose the worst of their stick after a few wears, they might improve yet.

Even wearng belted breeches, I sometimes get home with a naked tummy. I have to pull my shirt down before dismounting.

Ha ha, but mooning in the cold is no joke for your glutes!

Trust me, it's no joke for any poor person who gets an eyeful either! But yes, the fact that I put on fleece lined ones is a sure sign it's too chilly for bare flesh.
