Riding in winter

Heck this is an old thread! Where did everybody go????!!!! Anyway, I am a wuss and won't ride in the dark even tho all my riding is off road and on privately owned land, I guess I think I might meet the headless horse rider or something! lol, no point even trying to get Storm to hack alone with me! I am hoping to have "mobile" lights in the min school soon tho - then there will be no stopping us!
 
YO won't allow turnout now til the spring, been in now since clocks changed. YO is paranoid about her fields!
Hand grazing is a bit dodgy - 18hh 4year old just wants to go play!!!
I think that i am just having to book him in for schooling sessions twice a week (£30 a time) just to save his sanity !!!
Trying to look for a yard closer to home too, but he has to have a lot of horsey company-tried a farm home last year where there were two others but they were both on restricted grazing so he was really not a happy boy.
