RI marked my lateral moves today on lesson......

Shoulder in and haunches in 10/10

Leg yield across school 7/10

Renvers 8/10

Travers 9/10


Walk to canter 10/10



In actual fact all I was trying to do was walk forward in a straight line, my pony was objecting to the high wind and heavy rain in her face, so pulled off some cracking moves !

Ziggy pulls moves like that when we are out, I call them Log Yield!

Wow, that's impressive Belle pulls off some amazing moves in that sort of weather too. If I ask her for them normally she pretends she doesn't know how to do them.

Is there a name for the move where they shoot forwards with their tail clamped and bottom squidged round to the side? We were practising that one yesterday. Ever since we got caught out in the hail with the wind behind us Raf has been very sensitive about the wind on his bottom, poor thing.

I think that's the 'crab' @Bodshi but Im not sure it's a recognised dressage move
