I have an unregistered Welsh cob I'd like to show this year (i'm not convinced there's not some Highland or something else in there) But I'd like to show him as an unregistered Mountain and Moorland (in-hand this session/ridden next).
Here are some pictures (they are not recent and he is fitter and less fat currently)

Constructive cricism welcome as are showing tips :)

Please post pictures of your Welsh D's cobs (especially if they have successfully competed in breed classes) so I have something to compare him too :)

Angel!

This is my registered Section D, she dosn't look typical for her type, she is very fine and her coat NEVER grows! Not the best pics I hop they work! :p

You boy is lovely, he has a gorgeous face!

Only shown my reg welsh D once but his dam was inhand champion and the RHS and his sire has been hugely successful in showing and driving. kezzie got 6th at his first ever show and won a qualifying ticket to the festival of champions in 2007, we are hoping to repeat this feat as qualifying tickets this year are for a local showing championship.

another class to think about and one that seems to be getting more common is potential ride and drive. welshies always seem to do well in those :) make sure you read the schedules carefully aswell, many classes won't let unregistered horses enter.

I LOVE HER :D

I have a 16hh Welsh D x TB who used to be shown as a show cob and was always placed 1st or 2nd, he's also been country champion in hand and in elementary dressage. He's very nervous, very strong and very silly but has fab paces and oozes talent!
