You have a lovely place. Chloe aka beautiful is beautiful enjoy!

It looks like Scotland but aren't you up Lancashire way?

Your fields look ok too me. Its been a very odd, last summer and winter, but you have plenty of room and the grass will soon pick up in Spring:smile:

We are in Lancashire Tina - I can only wish we lived in Scotland....(I have a dream of moving up there to retire someday.............)

Looks like the nearest best thing to me.

You have a lovely set up, it can be lonely, it looks like a possible wilderness. Don't worry you have us for company. Very nice place and if I was one of them lost hikers, I would be only too glad to find you. Never feel lonely, you have me and many others. I am in a wildrerness here in mad Kent. We seek the quieter places with like minded folkes. Its no different really. We are all united by our common love:smile: Ya know what that is:smile:

Thanks Tina. We've not had any lost walkers for a day or two - I don't mind the genuine ones - it's the ones that deliberately come down noseying that annoy me! We get some all dressed up for a day in the "country" who don't even have a map to follow and then puff their chests out when you tell them they're lost:skull: Sometimes I feel like giving the wrong directions...... heheheheee

It's great to see your photos Trewsers. I had pictured your land flat - can't think why! I must pay more attention!

I wish it were a bit flatter - the top field isn't too bad and the front field is flatish but we do have lots of hills, good for a safe canter up mind!

we have a public footpath through the farm fields where the young TB's are. The horses are well used to people and completley ignore them, dogs barking at them the works. I did snigger to myself when I saw a guy approach one of the youngsters trying to pet him ! The horse threw his head up and bolted up the field followed then by the other 14 in the herd.. the guy RAN to the other style !

Fool!

Lol I often used to think if people stopped to try and pet Joe (our daft old tb) they would get a shock, he was a real head waggler and could take off like a mad thing at any moment!
