Pairs Ridden Showing

I was wondering if there were any hard and fast rules about pairs classes??

My friend and I fancy it and just wondered the following: -

* Do the ponies really have to look similar?? Or could you have a real contrast (dark bay almost black and solid white grey)??
* Do you have to be similarly turned out hers is a native mine a part bred?? They are the same size.
* Riders do they ahve to have similar looking tweeds, same hats and jods etc??

I would imagine for pairs jumping it's not an issue but anything pairs showing I would imagine it would be a problem.

its very striking when they are the same, especially in mirroring routines

i havent seen them done with very different horse, like pairs driving i suppose
