Oh ouch ouch ouch! my hip is killing me tonight. I have had to get into riding position on chair tonight only thing that cures. Have tried all sort, doctor, pills physio, all baffled. I am ok when riding and moving, but the minute I sit down, oh hell. I have had it for last 18 months, awake at night, can't sit down. No wonder I have lost weight. Pilates hasn't worked either. Just tried dancing round the room. Oh ouch, what a pain. Old age I suspect:smile:

i get that too.
Tramadol is my last resort or Diazapam.
Have you tried remedial or Swedish massage. Works wonders for me but at £40 a session its too expensive now I am not working.

Don't laugh, but have you tried "warm whiskers"?! Or something like to ease the pain? The bags (some are animal shaped) that you can put into the microwave? Sometimes they can ease aches when nothing else works.

You should go back to your doc and ask for a scan or to see a specialist Tina2011. If they know what it is then hopefully it can be treated with more accuracy.

I have arthritis in some of my joints but I now have some sort of issue with my neck, probably from a car running into my jeep a few years back. Ive gone from having a 24hour problem with it every 2 or 3 months to having 50% of my week where I practically can't move im in so much pain with the other 50% recovering a bit and then going back into the pain again......life is pretty crap at the mo if Im honest, gets really depressing not being able to do things most people do automatically and I have a lovely big TB that i struggle to look after never mind ride. Also feel a real burden to my OH who works full time and is then picking up the slack with my job ie. house, horses, dogs etc.

Moan, moan, moan......:frown::redface:

So I kinda know how you feel. I have asked to see a specialist and was referred within a week. You really should get them to try and diagnose mrs:smile:

Kay 2

I had xray (clear) and physio. One doc throught is was Arthritis. Thankfully it is fine when I am moving and its nowhere near as bad as it was, just seemed to have a bad time with it last night. Not to bad again today:smile: I have had the neck thing to, it was really painful the first time I had it but is managable now. Recently I have had bad pain in my elbow. I think I am just getting old. Falling apart:smoke: I can't take the pills doctor gave me and tbh didn't find even the strong ones much good. Now I take Paracetamol and ibuprofen together if i need to and that seems to do the trick along with exercise.

How are all your aches and pains this week mrs??:smile:

My neck has eased, am on mega tablets following appt with specialist last week which seem to be working so I might even try riding my grumpy horse this weekend. Had 10 lovely mins on hubby's mare the other day and that went fine so that was my trial run for my boy....its saying something when you are happier to ride a green youngster before an older and meant to be wiser horse!!!

Hope your hip better though:smile:

Yes I am fine thanks:unsure::giggle: Its an ongoing thing, total pain in the arse.....literally! Some times not to bad and don't really notice, sometimes, not so nice lol. I am okay all the time I move, but sit down for five mins and it lets me know lol. Been reading all poor folkes falls and stuff on here tonight esp 'Domane' so unfortunate and all I have to worry about after a lifetime is a flip pin hip ache. Puts things in prospective for me.

Glad your neck has eased Kay2 what happened? whip lash or something? I had accident in car a few weeks back. (Not my fault another long bizarre story) decided to take physio (insurance pay) it is fantastic for neck. Girl is so good, ow the massage is lovely. So relax or what:smile: Funny thing, my guts start rumbling (like when you are hungry) I said sorry about grumbling tum to her I haven't had breakfast (no time lol) she said don't worry it happens all the time, I need to consult higher peeps to find out why, must get round to it. Oh goodness you will think I am very crude but I did a big fart day after in husbands 'new' car. we had to chuck all windows open. He said 'that must have been in there for months' OMG:eek: I actually think it had been, I have still been farting ever since(no onions etc) OMG I am so laughing my throat is sore. Not such bad ones (more embarrassment and chuckles) but my spirits have lifted and I feel so well despite hip. Oh mad I m going to See her again this Friday.......Well I do not know what to say!:redface::
