I have 2 other adults who fairly regularly ride Max - one is my (nearly) 20 yo daughter and the other a friend from the yard, who is also a young adult - about 30 prhaps. They both ride him better than me and are a pleasure to watch. But I have to tell them the wee techniques to avoid his cheekiness - like walking away when mounting (simply tell him to stand), and falling out of canter (use more outside leg).
And occasionally, high days and holidays, I allow child family and friends to ride him. It was his job, in the RS. They love it, and he can go back to being a cheeky little bugger so he loves it too.
