oooooh super scary shetlands!!!

Zak was met with the sight of 4 shetlands in the arena as I walked him out to lunge him. Well you'd have thought they were fire breathing dragons!!! Head up. Snorting repeatedly. Eyes on stalks fixed onto these weird little furry pony eating creatures.

Why do so many horses fear Shetties?!!

They climb inside big horses when they are not looking and burrow through them, devouring them as they go

There is a field near where I live with what must be 50 or so shetlands in it. They all look super-cute and I've been tempted to go there with my camera but maybe not now!

Ben used to be scared of all ponies and shetlands used to send him nuts. We go out to loads of shows and these days he doesn't care but I do remember how scared he was. I'm sure that Zak will get used to them in time.
