I'm quite liking this dry cold, it certainly easier than wet! And it occurred to me this morning that after that warm spell we had, where the bugs started hatching, this cold might actually kill off some of the mozzies etc. which would make this summer more pleasant :D

I’m not minding it either the boys went out 24/7 just over a week ago and seem happy not stood waiting to come in and go back out after groom and ride with no issues at all

There is a positive side, there is a positive side, there is a positive side ..... nope it's not working, no matter how many times I repeat it :p

In all seriousness, yes for sure the dry, even though it's bitter cold is much more appealing than the wet :)

Yep loving the dry mud. Agree about the bugs. In all honesty we probably need it to stay dry and frosty for a bit longer to kill the mossies.
Forget the beast from the east. We'll skip that bit.
Can I add a positive. The clocks change in 3 ½ weeks.

Its meant to stay cold like this for 2 weeks so it might get the bugs.

It was light here until 6 yesterday, it's lovely. I've organised a ride for my group on clock change sunday to celebrate so we're counting down the days now :)
