AHHH, I rode my friends little pony today, I absolutely LOVED her! she's a bit of a crazy little thing but I think I have fallen in love with her her owner said that she will be selling her soon and I really want to buy her... but she's only 13.1... She's not really daintily built but not chunky either, I think she may be new forest? I'm 5ft6 and 8 stone... Is that too big..?

I probably won't be able to buy her anyway, but she was soo sweet and Mimi (little sister) would eventually be able to ride her...

I too am 5'6'' and 8 stone, and I regularly ride ponies as small as 11 hands Unless you have very long legs and a freakishly short body I really don't think you'd look half bad on a 13.1 native! You are not heavy by any stretch of the imagination... I'm pretty sure some of the young teens you see competing in the Shetland Grand National won't weigh much less than that!
