Ooo ooooo can't containg my excitement/nerves/giggleyness!! I may have found a share/pony to hack out.
For those who remember i went round to see if i could help a neighbour who has 2 of the retired RS ponies but another neighbour has apparently been looking after them for her. Well only the very next day she hacked past my house on one of them. AM i a bad person, i was so jealous I went out to see her, hope i didn't look green, but i had to tell her how lovely it was to see him out. He was clearly loving it. First time out since being in this new home for 4 months. ANd i think i might of said OMG you are so lucky at least a hundred times. Can't conceal my feelings, sad i know
However i then decided, RIGHT, i am going to put my confidence issues aside and look for a share. Have written out the ad. Was hoping to put it up in RS this weekend. Nipped in today to book a ride out AND i think i may have found a pony to ride already!
Mentioned before on here that a woman who has a pony there has a daughter with a pony elsewhere that needs ridden as she is too busy working. I did think i wasn't confident enough to go riding a pony i don't know in a place i don't know but i think it may be too good an oppertunity to pass up.
They had originally thought of bringing him to RS but they have changed their minds and want him kept where he is. Beautiful hacking etc. My only reservation is a pony i've never ridden, who is described as FAST but has brakes and isn't spooky at all. He is in his late teens.
Just need to swallow the KALMS and go for it!! What do you think?? Should i go see her? I'm so nervous excited, sorry for the rambling, all over the place post!!!
