OH first dressage comp with pictures

So OH finally took part in his first dressage test last week and he was a total star.

As I finished calling for him I could not stop smiling. His aim was 40% and he scored 54.8% I am so proud he did so well and he did not come last and he really enjoyed it.

He has even asked when the next one is. I have told him that in the next one he is up against Albi and I in the same test... that will be fun I will never hear the end of it if he wins

It was at the RC Into A I think.

Yes that is Chanter, Chanter is very cheeky with him and refuses to work round and soft but Steve is getting there. I did tell him to just ride and enjoy the test and to hit the markers but not to worry about his head as long as he is working forward.

OH is only 5'7 and a little over 12 stone so not a big guy at all.
