We just got our land cleared to get ready to bring our horses here. We have been boarding. Of course there is no grass yet.....do we have any options (feed/hay) to get them here?

Thanks

What state is the land in? If you've just seeded it, you can't let horses on it straight away or they'll crush new growth. Do you mean there's an area you can use but no grazing?

We have about 5 acres for the two horses cleared but no grazing. We were going to section to start grass growth....but will they be ok with hay / feed alone until it gets established.

If they're getting no grazing at all, you should keep their diet forage based - as that's what their systems are made to deal with. Eg focus on hay and use feed as an extra, as said above, & for vits etc, depending on their workload & other needs.

But I guess you'll need a lot of hay! could be tough to find at this time of year (assuming you're in UK). Might be worth dampening the hay when you give it / considering haylage, to avoid coughs long-term.
